Heritage Senior Center is offering a program called Texercise. Texercise is a statewide health and wellness initiative of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) that encourages individuals and communities to adopt healthy lifestyle habits such as regular physical activity and good nutrition. Our Texercise program for senior citizens will include light fitness activity/exercise and health discussions. Class is held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Heritage Senior Center invites you to experience our Tuesday Night dances. Whether it’s ballroom or country/western, dancing is great exercise and a great way to meet people! The dance is from 7 to 9:15 p.m. on Tuesdays and admission is $6 per person. Admission is open to persons 18 and older. Upcoming dances are: April 2: Danny Romo—Country, April 9: DJ—Sock Hop, April 16: DJ - Music Shuffle *No Cover Charge*. Heritage Senior Center is looking for singers for the Heritage Singers, it’s men and women’s choir for those aged 50 and older. If you like to sing and always wanted to try being in a choir this is the place for you, no choral experience necessary! The choir rehearses on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Mondays of the month at Heritage Senior Center, 200 S. Heritage Senior Center host a Parking Lot sale on Saturday April 27. The sale will take place at Heritage Senior Center, 200 S. Jefferson St., Irving Texas. The Parking Lot Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. We are seeking vendors. Sell your garage sale/flea market type items, or just come browse if you love that type of sale!
