2019 Summer Games Bring Out the Competitors


Irving, Texas. June 24, 2019

Youth, ages 11-17, will enjoy competing in this two-week, Olympic-style Summer Games. From water volleyball to basketball, and team sports to one-on-one activities, there is a competition for everyone. During practices, participants will learn various sports techniques such as exercises that increase strength and endurance, as well as lessons in teamwork that will help lead them to victory. Each recreation center will be represented by an official Summer Games team. Medals will be given to winners.

Week 1 - Individual Sports

July 22 - Irving High School Tennis 9 a.m.
July 22 - Lively Pointe Chess/Dominoes 1 p.m.
July 23 - Cimarron Park Table Tennis 9 a.m.
July 24 - Lively Pointe, Georgia Farrow Indoor Soccer 10 a.m.
July 25 - Cimarron Aquatic Center Water Volleyball 9 a.m.
July 26 - Trinity View Park 7-on-7 Flag Football 9 a.m.


Week 2 - Team Sports

July 29 - Trinity View Park Kickball 9 a.m.
July 30 - Northwest, Georgia Farrow parks Volleyball 10 a.m.
July 31 - Lee Park Dodgeball 10:30 a.m.
Aug. 1 - Mustang, Cimarron parks Youth Basketball 10 a.m.
Aug. 2 - Northwest, Georgia Farrow parks Teen Basketball 10 a.m.
