Fuzzy's Tacos Headquarters Moved to Irving

Fuzzy's Taco Shop, founded in 2003 near the Texas Christian University campus, has moved its corporate headquarters from Fort Worth to Las Colinas.

The company's new address is 4200 Regent Blvd., where Fuzzy's will occupy 8,000 square feet. The company's new space is 20 percent larger than its previous space at 200 Bailey Ave. in Fort Worth, according to Jessica Wescott, the company's CFO and COO.

"Our lease was up in Fort Worth, so we decided to move to a space that was closer to the airport and more regionally located for our team. Our proximity to the airport will make it easier for current and future franchisees to visit us," Wescott wrote in an email to the Business Journal.

About 35 employees will work out of the new headquarters, Wescott said. Since its inception, Fuzzy's Taco Shop has grown into a recognizable chain of nearly 150 restaurants in 16 states. A majority of the company's locations are operated by franchisees. During a recent interview with the Business Journal, Wescott said that the brand hopes to add 12 to 15 new locations in 2021, both in existing markets as well as in new markets, like Minneapolis.
