Irving, Texas. December 19, 2020 –
Dallas County reported 2,248 more coronavirus cases today. The repor included 10 deaths.
One of the deaths included an Irving woman in her 40s. What's troubling to doctors is that she did not have any underlying high-risk health conditions. This shows how unpredicatable the virus can be. The death toll in Irving now stands at 83.
County Judge Clay Jenkins said that North Texans need to follow the advice of doctors and limit large gatherings, shop online and avoid eating indoors.
“Our health care system is stretched. Our health care heroes are tired and stressed,” Jenkins said. “A post-holiday surge on top of our current increases would be devastating.”
