Report: FC Dallas working on signing Argentine Striker Juan Dinenno

In a recent episode of Futbol Picante on ESPN, Mexican trainer and commentator Jose Luis Sanchez Sola announced that Dinenno would be sold to FC Dallas.

Jose Luis Sanchez Sola was answering questions about a different Pumas player, when he dropped the Dinenno bomb on the hosts, who can be clearly seen to be shocked by the revelation. Sanchez Sola indicated that his sources are from MLS, and not from Liga MX. He also states that the FC Dallas offer will be accepted because Pumas will receive the payment in full and they are badly in need of cash right now. The Dinenno sale will stabilize their finances.

Juan Ignacio Dinenno is 26-year old Argentinian striker. He is a pure #9 entering his prime. Since joining Pumas a year ago, he scored 17 goals in 32 matches (started 24), leading them to the Liga MX Final. “Dinegol” is not considered a fast player, but is certified lethal inside the box, and was named to the Liga MX ideal 11 for last season.

The transfer details are unknown, but it is rumored that Pumas were demanding north of $3 million for Dinenno.
