Irving Asks Visitors to Continue Wearing Masks and Follow Social Distancing


Irving, Texas. March 11, 2021

All patrons visiting City of Irving facilities for any reason should wear a face covering and practice social distancing. Masks will be made available for visitors without a face covering, if desired. Many City services can be accessed at for patrons who prefer to not wear a face covering or wish to avoid in-person contact.

"While I am thrilled for businesses to reopen and healthy commerce to resume, it's critical that we continue to protect ourselves and each other from the virus. The COVID-19 virus continues to be a threat, and many people have personally been affected.  Wearing face coverings, maintaining distance and washing hands per CDC recommendations will help protect the health of our community.", said Irving Mayor Rick Stopfer
