Omni Las Colinas Hotel announces the official opening of their pool deck and outdoor space along with The Lakehouse Waterfront Lounge for the summer.
The beautiful resort-style oasis offers locals and hotel guests a thoughtful menu of food and drink options and a lounge space complete with fire pits, multiple televisions as well as fans to keep guests cool for the ultimate outdoor entertainment experience.
The pool and outdoor lawn is part of the completion of a $13 million renovation, completed August 2020, and is open to both hotel guests and members of the community alike. The Omni Las Colinas Hotel will utilize the outdoor space to host movie nights, live music, events, and more this summer.
The Lakehouse Waterfront Lounge and expansive lawn is open to the public. Hotel guests receive complimentary access to the pool deck, and non-guests can enjoy the pool deck when they purchase a Day Pass. The Day Pass allows guest access to the pool, hot tub, poolside food and drink service from The Lakehouse Waterfront Lounge (open Wed-Sun), and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Highlights from the food menu include, Blackened Redfish Tacos – poblano pico, guajillo dressing, cotija, smoked cancha, blue corn tortilla; Local Cheese & Meat Board – today’s selection, serrano honey, whole grain mustard, cornichons, multigrain crisp, baguette; Las Colinas Burger – 44 Farms double smashed beef patty (or Beyond Burger), local cheddar, caramelized onion, pecanwood smoked bacon, chipotle aioli, brioche; and Crispy Chicken – buttermilk brine, lettuce, tomato, pickles, ancho aioli, concha bread.
The drink menu offers local and domestic beers on draft and by the can, wines by the glass, and frozen cocktails including Frozen French Berry Frosé, Frozen Margarita, Frozen Piña Colada and Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri. The menu also features a unique “Spritz” section with a variety of refreshing drinks including the classic Aperol Spritz; Peach Blossom Spritz – Ketel One Botanical Peach & Orange Blossom Lillet Blanc, Monin Peach, Lunetta prosecco, club soda; Grapefruit Elderflower Spritz – Aviation Gin, Barmalade Grapefruit-Elderflower, Chandon Rosé, club soda; Green Apple Spritz – Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple Whiskey, Carpano Dry Vermouth, Monin Green Apple, Lunetta prosecco and club soda.
Kick Off to Summer – Life at The Lakehouse
To officially welcome the start of summer and pool season, Omni Las Colinas Hotel will host a Kick-Off to Summer outdoor party complete with cocktails, lite-bites, yard games and live music on Friday, June 18th. The party will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. General Admission tickets are available for $40 and include two (2) drink tickets and lite bites, with summer-inspired cocktails and culinary dishes available for purchase.
The party band, Elevation, will rev up the crowd with upbeat live tunes throughout the evening. Activations by Dos Equis, Aperol, Chandon, Ketel One Botanicals, and Truly will be spread out throughout the lawn with Instagrammable moments and games.
For those who don’t want to end the night at 9 p.m., the Omni Las Colinas Hotel is offering a special stay rate of $119 for the evening.
