We all know about landscaping, but have we heard about rainscaping? Rainscaping uses many of the same techniques as traditional landscaping, but it aims to plan for the movement, capturing, and use of water in its design.
Also commonly referred to as green stormwater infrastructure (GSI), or best management practices (BMPs), rainscapes are made out of these designs, and can help reduce water use, improve our water quality, and reduce flooding, while at the same time, make an area look beautiful!
