TxDOT will close eastbound State Highway (SH) 183, from Tucasa Drive to Grauwyler Road, nightly through Sunday, May 8, weather permitting:
- Saturday, April 29 from midnight to 7 a.m.
- Sunday, May 1 from midnight to 8 a.m.
- Monday, May 2 at 10 p.m. to Tuesday, May 3 at 5 a.m.
- Tuesday, May 3 at 10 p.m. to Wednesday, May 4 at 5 a.m.
- Wednesday, May 4 at 10 p.m. to Thursday, May 5 at 5 a.m.
- Thursday, May 5 at 10 p.m. to Friday, May 6 at 5 a.m.
- Saturday, May 7 from midnight to 7 a.m.
- Sunday, May 8 from midnight to 8 a.m.
The southbound Spur 482 off-ramp to westbound SH 183, as well as the off-ramps to southbound Loop 12 and Carl Road, will be closed:
- Monday May 2 at 9 p.m. to Tuesday, May 3 at 5 a.m.
Drivers should follow detour routes, and plan ahead for extra travel time or seek alternate routes.
This work is part of the ongoing $301 million Irving Interchange project that will reconstruct the interchanges at SH 183, SH 114, Loop 12 and Spur 482. The project is anticipated to complete in mid-2023, weather permitting.
