Irving Families Invited to July 8 Movie Night at Heritage Park

UPDATE: Due to the Excessive Heat Warning and in consideration for visitors’ safety, the July 8 On Stage at Heritage Movie Night event will begin at 8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to dress in loose clothing and bring plenty of water. Food trucks will be onsite. Stay cool, Irving!

Bring the family out for a free showing of Raya and the Last Dragon (2021) on Friday, July 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Park, 217 S. Main Street. Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. However, when sinister monsters known as the Druun threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity.

Now, 500 years later, those same monsters have returned, and it's up to a lone warrior to track down the last dragon and stop the Druun for good.

The event is part of the On Stage at Heritage Series. Visitors are invited to enjoy dinner in the Heritage District or from the on-site food trucks. Outside food and beverages are allowed, as well as lawn chairs and blankets.
