The Dallas County District Attorney Satellite Office will be available at the Irving Police Department (305 N. O'Connor Rd, Irving, TX 75061) starting next week (Aug. 8). The satellite office will be rotating betwwen four locations, including Irving, throughout the month of August. It will be open monday thru friday, 10 am - 2 pm.
"Launched March 1, 2017, the Dallas County District Attorney's 11 satellite offices provide more accessibility to our community and make the crime reporting, investigation and prosecution processes as efficient, successful and comfortable for our community as possible.", states the DA's website.
The purpose of these satellite offices is to "provide critical resources and guidance to Dallas County community members who need assistance navigating the sometimes intimidating and confusing criminal justice system."
The satellite offices focus primarily on intimate crimes like family violence, sexual assault and child abuse.
