ALDI is Going Tiny to Help Irving Shoppers Win Free Groceries for a Year

With food costs continuing to climb, ALDI, voted No. 1 in price five years running*, remains committed to offering the best possible value for quality groceries. And now, ALDI is giving Dallas-area residents the chance to win free groceries for a year! ALDI will highlight its small prices by dropping tiny, interactive billboards for Irving residents to find from October 14-18. The program is part of a new brand campaign and tagline, "It’s an ALDI Thing," that reinforces the company's position as a grocery store that does things differently than conventional grocers to challenge the expected in order to save consumers time and money.

How it works: Tiny billboards (measuring just 12 in. by 12 in.) positioned throughout Atlanta, Dallas and Minneapolis will feature a QR code that passersby can scan to enter the sweepstakes for a chance to win one of ten nationwide grand prizes – free groceries for the year! Across the country, people can also participate by downloading their own tiny billboard from ALDI.us.

Here’s a hot tip for Dallas shoppers: be on the lookout for these tiny billboards in three spots around town- near the Dallas Arboretum, in downtown Irving and around the Dallas College Richland Campus.
