The Kennedale Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred Wednesday afternoon at a car wash near Treepoint Drive and Little School Road.
At 2:50pm, Kennedale police responded to the scene and located two young males with gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported both victims to Medical City Arlington where one of them died. He has been identified as an 18-year-old man from Arlington. The other victim, a minor, is in stable condition.
Police are looking for a group of two to three male suspects who were seen fleeing the area shortly after the shooting. they were in a dark colored four-door sedan.
Investigators are still working to determine the motive and circumstances surrounding the incident.
Kennedale High School was placed on lockdown during the initial response to the shooting.
