Fort Worth Police responded to a domestic argument between a couple at a home on 6401 Meadowbrook Drive, October 22.
Upon arriving, Police found a wounded female and the apparent shooter dead.
Fort Worth Police are now investigating the case as an attempted domestic murder-suicide. They say the man shot his 35-year-old wife several times in her lower body before fatally shooting himself in the kitchen.
The woman was hospitalized and underwent surgery. Her current condition is not known.
The man was identified Saturday by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office as 54-year-old David P. Richards.
The investigation is on-going.
