Two Women Found Dead from Gun Shot at Burning Arlington Home

The Arlington Police Department is investigating a potential murder suicide situation that occurred at a home in southeast Arlington.

At around 5:20 pm on November 10, Arlington police responded to a suicidal subject at a home in the 600 block of E. Lynn Creek Drive. Arlington firefighters were also called to the scene for reports of a fire inside the home.

When Arlington firefighters arrived, they immediately went inside to attack the fire and check for residents. One person was pulled from the house with life-threatening injuries. She was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.

A second female victim was located inside the home. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police have determined both of these women were shot. They are not searching for a suspect at this time.

Officials have not released information regarding the victims’ age or relation. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the official cause and manner of their deaths.

The incident remains under investigation.
