On February 16, 2023, at around 11:15 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3200 block of Quebec Street which is a warehouse area between Highway 35E and the Trinity River.
When officers arrived they found Lyrone Moore, 37, shot once in the leg. Officers applied a tourniquet and pressure until Dallas Fire Rescue arrived and took Moore to a local hospital, where he later died.
Police do not have any current leads on the case, but the investigation is ongoing and is documented under case number 027079-2023.
