On November 7, 2023, Officer Aleia Burley, #12182, was arrested for Abandoning and Endangering a Child with Intent to Return by the Carrollton Police Department.
Burley was off-duty at the time of the offense.
Officer Burley has been on the Department since May of 2021 and is assigned to South Central Patrol Division.
She is on administrative leave pending the outcome of an Internal Affairs administrative investigation.
