A call for service on November 7, 2023, led Dallas Police to the 11400 block of Garland Road at approximately 1:30 p.m. Responding officers discovered 42-year-old Jose Vasquez injured and unconscious. Vasquez was transported to a local hospital.
Upon further investigation by an Assaults Detective, the incident was classified as an aggravated assault. On November 10, 2023, Jose Vasquez succumbed to his injuries, prompting the case to be reassigned to the Homicide Unit.
As of now, there is no available information regarding any suspects in connection to this event.
