On November 12, 2023, at about 11:40 AM officers responded to a shooting call in the 800 block of Wayne St. The preliminary investigation determined an unknown suspect shot the victim and left the location. The victim, 46-year-old Renne Gonzalez, was transported to a local hospital and died from his injuries.
This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 201070-2023.
