On Monday, September 23, 2024, a Tarrant County Sheriff Deputy patrolling the Haslet area noticed a suspicious vehicle parked behind a restaurant that had recently reported multiple burglaries. The restaurant was closed, making the vehicle's presence unusual.
Upon approaching the vehicle, deputies found a male and female inside, with drug paraphernalia and a handgun visible. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered an AR-15 rifle, high-capacity magazines, a large quantity of ammunition, and illegal narcotics.
Weapon seized
Both occupants were arrested and face several felony charges as a result of the incident.
