The Collin County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Mark Anthony Horak, 65, in relation to the ongoing investigation into the death of Olutoyosi Molomo, a 33-year-old Black male found deceased at Horak's residence on Billy Mitchell Drive in McKinney on July 31, 2024.
Horak has been charged with Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair a Human Corpse, a Second-Degree Felony under Texas Penal Code Section 37.09. This charge arises from evidence suggesting that Horak knowingly altered the crime scene following Mr. Molomo's death.
The investigation commenced when the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an unconscious male at Horak's home. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Mr. Molomo, who had sustained fatal injuries. An autopsy conducted by the Collin County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed the cause of death to be homicide due to a gunshot wound.
