Irving Animal Services (IAS) has announced the suspension of trapping and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) services until November 12. During this period, the department will also halt the loaning of city-owned traps to residents.
Residents are encouraged to utilize their own humane traps to capture feral and community cats. They can also seek assistance from privately operated organizations, including the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection, Spay Neuter Network and SPCA of Texas.
For information about spay/neuter vouchers redeemable at participating locations, residents can contact Animal Services at (972) 721-2256. TNR services are expected to resume on November 13.
