Garland Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on November 20, 2024, shortly after 3:00 p.m. near the intersection of Broadway Boulevard and Centerville Road.
According to initial reports, several individuals gathered at a restaurant on Broadway Boulevard near East Kingsley Road, where a physical altercation broke out. After the altercation, two individuals left the scene in a vehicle, traveling through a shopping center parking lot toward East Centerville Road, with others involved in the dispute following behind.
During the pursuit, a suspect fired a gun from the moving vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
Investigators are currently working to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident. Authorities have learned that the suspects involved are students or former students of South Garland High School.
The investigation remains ongoing.
