Jada Arredondo, a senior at Irving High School, has been matched with Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. Arredondo, also named an Irving ISD Student Influencer, is highly involved in extracurricular activities, including serving on her campus improvement committee, being a member of the varsity tennis team, and holding leadership roles in student council and the Green Team. Her involvement in programs like the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute internship and the Youth Leadership Institute at the University of Southern California has further broadened her opportunities. Arredondo plans to major in economics or finance and is considering law school or starting a family business in real estate or consulting.

Mahriz Zain, a senior at MacArthur High School, has been matched with Duke University. Zain, who aims to major in finance and data science, has demonstrated his passion for business and technology through leadership roles as president of the Technology Student Association and Business Professionals of America. Zain aspires to a career in financial advising, venture capitalism, and philanthropy, with a long-term goal of helping others achieve success.

Both Arredondo and Zain are among the fortunate students to receive the highly competitive QuestBridge scholarships, which provide them with the resources to pursue their higher education goals at some of the country's top universities.
