On Saturday, December 8, 2024, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting in the 1300 block of S. Fitzhugh Avenue in South Dallas.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a woman had been shot. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The case is under investigation, documented as case number 183444-2024.
