Irving High School, Johnson Middle School, Schulze Elementary School, and Singley Academy have been named recipients of the prestigious CREST (Counselors Reinforcing Excellence for Students in Texas) Award by the Texas School Counselor Association (TSCA).
The award recognizes schools with outstanding counseling programs that excel in supporting students' academic, career, and personal-social development. Programs are evaluated in five key categories:
- Introduction to the school and the counselor’s role
- Program implementation cycle
- Foundational components
- Four service delivery components
- Program curriculum
These Irving ISD schools will be formally honored at the TSCA Annual Conference, set to take place in February in Galveston. The recognition highlights their dedication to fostering student success and well-being through exceptional counseling services.
