Irving ISD Cancels Classes and Activities for January 9-10 Due to Inclement Weather

Due to inclement weather conditions, Irving Independent School District (ISD) has announced the cancellation of classes, after-school programs, and evening activities for Thursday, January 9, and Friday, January 10.

The Irving ISD Administration Building and all schools will remain closed during these days. However, due to additional instructional minutes built into the school calendar, students and staff will not need to make up these missed days.

Athletic events scheduled for Friday evening may still occur, depending on weather conditions. Irving ISD will monitor the weather closely and provide updates by noon Friday via School Messenger through phone calls, emails, and text messages.

Operations and classes are expected to resume as normal on Monday, January 13.
