Priscilla Vigliante, a longtime community advocate and former member of the City of Irving Planning and Zoning Commission, has officially filed to run for Irving City Council District 7 in the upcoming May 2025 election.
A second-generation Texan, wife, and mother, Vigliante’s journey into public service began eight years ago when her son Mateo was born. She became deeply invested in improving her neighborhood, focusing on infrastructure, community safety, and economic growth.
Vigliante’s campaign emphasizes prioritizing infrastructure improvements, addressing vacant first responder positions, and ensuring fiscal responsibility with city budgets. She pledges to focus on creating a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment for all residents of District 7.
"Our infrastructure needs improvement, and our capital improvements budget needs to be prioritized. Our city must focus on filling vacant first responder positions so that Irving citizens know their safety is the top priority," said Vigliante in a statement.
Vigliante’s candidacy builds on years of service, including her time on the Planning and Zoning Commission, where she made key decisions regarding local development and community enhancements.
