Dallas County Public Health Committee Updates COVID-19 Vaccine Recommendations

Irving, Texas. June 24, 2022 –

The Dallas County Public Health Committee released updated COVID-19 vaccine recommendations this week to the public. The information includes detail on age groups, guidance on number of vaccines and eligibility.

"We developed these slides to help with understanding vaccine recommended protocol," said Stephen Love, DFW Hospital Council president/CEO and member of the committee. "While numbers are low at our North Texas hospitals and we are beginning to achieve a level of 'normal,' we believe it is important to follow these recommendations so we can continue to maintain this level of 'normal.'"

The vaccine guidance also details the recommendations for the general population, immunocompromised individuals and adults.
