On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Plano Patrol Officers and Plano Fire-Rescue responded to a serious injury traffic crash involving a pedestrian at East Park Boulevard and northbound US Highway 75.
Preliminary investigation indicates a pedestrian was walking westbound, attempting to cross the northbound lanes of US 75 when struck by a northbound vehicle. The impact caused the pedestrian to be thrown into another lane. A second vehicle swerved to avoid the pedestrian but collided with the first vehicle, which then struck a third vehicle.
Upon arrival, Plano Fire-Rescue personnel declared the pedestrian deceased at the scene. The Collin County Medical Examiner’s Office has taken custody of the body. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending positive identification.
