Lake Worth Police Arrest Gang Member in Meth Bust After Vehicle Pursuit

Samarine Briscoe

On November 10th, members of the Lake Worth Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted a targeted narcotics operation on the 5800 block of Jacksboro Highway aimed at a known methamphetamine distributor. During the operation, deputies from the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office attempted a traffic stop, but the suspect, later identified as 37-year-old Samarine Briscoe, failed to yield and led officers on a pursuit toward downtown Fort Worth.

Briscoe, a confirmed gang member with a lengthy criminal history, was found in possession of approximately one pound of suspected methamphetamine along with other illicit drugs. No officers, bystanders, or suspects were injured during the operation.

He was arrested and charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, and evading arrest with a vehicle. Briscoe is currently being held on a $625,000 bond at the Tarrant County Jail.

The Lake Worth Police Department thanked the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance and partnership, emphasizing their commitment to keeping the community safe and protecting residents from drug-related crime.
