Arlington Police Investigating Deadly Shooting on I-20 That Killed Woman, Injured Man

The Arlington Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Thursday night, November 13, 2025, along westbound I-20 near Bowman Springs Road. The incident left one woman dead and a man injured.

Around 7:40 p.m., officers were called to a gas station in the 4900 block of Little Road after a man reported that he had been shot. When police arrived, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound inside his vehicle, along with an unresponsive adult female who had also been shot.

The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The man was transported to another local hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening. Two young children who were in the back seat of the vehicle at the time of the shooting were taken to Medical City Arlington as a precaution and later released.

Investigators believe the victims were traveling westbound on I-20 when their vehicle was struck by gunfire. After the shooting, the driver exited the highway and stopped at the gas station to call for help.

Police also learned that a second vehicle in the same area was hit by gunfire during the incident, though no one inside that vehicle was injured.

Detectives are actively working to determine the circumstances that led to the shooting and whether it was a targeted attack or random act of violence. Preliminary information suggests the woman may have been pregnant at the time of her death.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the woman’s identity once her family has been notified.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective Allison Allen at (817) 575-8613 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County at (817) 469-8477.
