North Richland Hills, TX — A Richland Hills man has been arrested after police say he struck a pedestrian while driving intoxicated Saturday evening.
According to the North Richland Hills Police Department, officers responded around 7:30 p.m. on March 7, 2026, to a crash involving a pedestrian on Rufe Snow Drive just south of Iron Horse Boulevard.
Investigators say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle driven by 65-year-old John Peddecord of Richland Hills.
The victim suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive.
Police arrested Peddecord at the scene. He has been charged with intoxication assault and accident involving serious bodily injury.
Peddecord is currently being held in the Tarrant County Jail. His bond has been set at $50,000.
