Woman Sentenced to 20 Years in Shooting Robbery of Elderly Man in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas — A Tarrant County jury has convicted a woman in connection with a violent robbery of a 73-year-old man and sentenced her to 20 years in prison.

Cierre Price, 31, was found guilty of aggravated robbery for her role in the February 12, 2025, attack.

According to prosecutors, the victim was walking to his front door when Price and an armed accomplice rushed him and demanded money. During the robbery, Price repeatedly ordered the accomplice to shoot. The accomplice fired, grazing the victim’s head and knocking him to the ground.

Authorities said the suspects fled with approximately $1,200.

Price was arrested by Fort Worth police 10 days after the incident and has remained in custody at the Tarrant County Jail since that time.

The case was prosecuted by Katherine Messina and David Tamez.
