DFW Airport Unveils Major Dining Expansion Featuring Texas Favorites

DFW AIRPORT, Texas — Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is expanding its dining and retail offerings with a mix of North Texas favorites, national brands and locally owned businesses as part of its ongoing terminal modernization efforts.

The DFW Airport Board of Directors recently approved new concession contracts for locations in Terminals A, B and E, as well as the future Terminal F.

Airport officials said the additions are part of DFW Forward, the airport's $12 billion capital improvement program aimed at modernizing terminals, adding gates and enhancing the customer experience.

Among the newly approved concepts are Fort Worth-based Ampersand Coffee, Dallas-Fort Worth favorites Mi Cocina and Whataburger, Stockyards Bar & Grill/Cowtown Supply Co., Cookie Society, Mama Moore's and Audrey's Popcorn. National brands approved for expansion include Panda Express, Popeyes, Wetzel's Pretzels, Nekter Juice Bar and Sambazon.

"A significant portion of the new concessions will be located in the future Terminal F, supporting the next phase of DFW's growth," airport officials said.

Newly approved concessions include:

• Mama Moore's, Terminal A Gate A20 and Terminal B Gate B27
• Cookie Society, Terminal B Gate B19
• Audrey's Popcorn, Terminal E Gate E34
• Panda Express, Terminal B Gate B20
• Stockyards Bar & Grill/Cowtown Supply Co., Terminal F Gate F29
• Popeyes, Terminal F Gate F29

• Sambazon, Terminal F Gate F17
• Wetzel's Pretzels, Terminal F Gate F17
• Ampersand Coffee, Terminal F Gate F17

Airport leaders said the expansion is designed to provide travelers with more dining options while showcasing the culture and businesses of North Texas.

Several of the approved concessions are operated by Small Business Enterprise Concessions-certified businesses or joint ventures, reflecting the airport's focus on expanding opportunities for local entrepreneurs.

Some concepts also include community-focused initiatives. The Bridge plans to partner with The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center and UpSpire, dedicating a portion of sales to workforce development and recovery programs. Stockyards Bar & Grill/Cowtown Supply Co. has committed to supporting The Herd in Fort Worth through annual contributions over the life of its lease.

Airport officials said additional shopping and dining options are expected as DFW Forward continues to add gates, modernized terminal space and expanded amenities across the airport.
