Three Killed, One Juvenile Critically Injured in Duncanville Crash

DUNCANVILLE, Texas — Three people were killed and a juvenile remains hospitalized in critical condition following a two-vehicle crash Monday night in Duncanville, according to police.

Officers were dispatched at approximately 8:45 p.m. on June 8 to the intersection of West Wheatland Road and South Cedar Ridge Drive after receiving reports of a major accident.

When officers arrived, they found a white Chrysler 300 and a gray Toyota Corolla involved in the collision.

Police said four people were traveling in the Toyota Corolla. Despite life-saving efforts by Duncanville paramedics, two adult women were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two male juveniles were transported to local hospitals. One of the juveniles later died from injuries sustained in the crash. The second juvenile remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

The driver of the Chrysler 300, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, did not suffer any major injuries, according to investigators.

Authorities have not released the identities of the deceased pending notification of family members.

Traffic investigators remained at the scene for several hours following the collision, and portions of the roadway were closed while evidence was collected.

The Duncanville Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances and factors that contributed to the crash.
