On March 16, 2022 at 2:51 pm, the Irving Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the Hidden Village Apartments which is located at 1925 W. 5th Street. A total of 15 pieces of emergency equipment were sent to the scene. The apartment building was quickly evacuated and suppression activities began.
There were two civilians injured with moderate injuries. Moderate bodily injury means physical injury that involves prolonged loss of consciousness or that causes temporary or moderate disfigurement or temporary loss of the function of a bodily member or organ or injury that requires medical treatment when the treatment requires the use of regional or general anesthesia or injury that results in a fracture or dislocation. No more details were provided on the injuries.
No injuries were reported to first responders. The fire was checked under control by 3:13 pm.
