Irving-based Liquid Environmental Solutions Acquires St Louis Disposal Solutions

Liquid Environmental Solutions (“LES”) today announced it has acquired St. Louis Disposal (“SDS”), a leading provider of grease trap, used cooking oil, industrial and municipal waste processing services in Eastern Missouri.

Based in St. Louis, MO and founded in 2011, SDS will be added to LES’ extensive network of non-hazardous wastewater processing facilities, providing customers with more options for safe and compliant recycling of their waste streams.

“Merrell has a tremendous reputation in the waste management industry, and I’m very pleased to welcome the SDS facility, team and their loyal customers into LES’ footprint,” said Jerry Sheridan, Chief Executive Officer of LES. “We look forward to working closely with them to help expand their reach and incorporate their outstanding service to our business.”

“We have always prided ourselves on applying the finest equipment and technology to service our broad base of clients, and we’re thrilled that LES shares our commitment to creating a positive experience for our customers,” said Terry Merrell, Co-Owner and CFO of Merrell Bros., who, along with other members of the Merrell Team, will assist with the integration. “Both Merrell and LES are committed to improving communities through compliant waste processing, and we believe LES is the right company to support the continued growth of SDS.”

Brian Bidelspach, Vice President of Expansion Operations for Liquid Environmental Solutions, added, “The waste management space is highly fragmented with massive opportunity to scale and add value along the way. SDS and the St. Louis area represent a growth opportunity for LES, and we’re thrilled to be able to help SDS grow as part of the LES family of brands.”
