The Lewisville Police Department is investigating a fatality accident that occurred earlier this morning at the intersection of Round Grove Road and Rockbrook Drive.
At approximately 6:15 am, Lewisville Fire/EMS and PD responded to the intersection after 9-1-1 calls were received that two people had been struck by a vehicle.
When emergency responders arrived, they located a man and woman deceased at the scene. They are both believed to be between 30-40 years of age. Their identities have not been released pending family notification.
Investigators are speaking with the driver who hit the couple. He remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing and any potential charges have not yet been determined
