The Watauga Police Department is investigating a fatality motorcycle accident that occurred late Wednesday afternoon (Oct 12).
At around 4:30 pm, Watauga FD/EMS and Police along with North Richland Hills FD were dispatched to the northbound lanes of Denton Highway (377) just before Tarrant Parkway for a major accident. Emergency responders located a collision involving an SUV and a motorcycle.
Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to Medical City North Hills hospital in critical condition, but he was pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as a 19-year-old man.
Lanes of northbound 377 were partially blocked through the evening while police cleared up the scene.
