During overnight hours, TxDOT work on the Irving Interchange project through Oct. 29 will affect Irving motorists using Loop 12 and State Highways (SH) 183 and 114, as well as frontage roads and surrounding streets:
TUESDAY, OCT. 25 AND WEDNESDAY, OCT. 26, NIGHTLY
- 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.: Eastbound SH 183 main lanes will be closed from Loop 12 to Regal Ridge Parkway for beam set operations. View the detour map.
THURSDAY, OCT. 27
- 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.: Grauwyler Road will be closed underneath the Loop 12 main lanes. View the detour map.
- 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The southbound Loop 12 frontage road will be closed from SH 183 to Grauwyler. Traffic will detour to southbound Loop 12 South and exit at Union Bower Road.
SATURDAY, OCT. 29
- Midnight to 8 a.m.: Eastbound SH 183 main lanes will be closed from Loop 12 to Regal Ridge Parkway for deck operations. View the detour map.
Signed detours will be in place. Motorists are advised to expect long traffic delays and seek alternate routes when possible.
