Irving Police responded to a fatal car crash around 3 am this morning in the 3400 block of West State Highway 183 (near Belt Line Rd). A vehicle was seen traveling the wrong way on the westbound lanes. The vehicle struck another vehicle head-on. Both drivers were pronounced dead after being transported to Parkland Hospital. A passenger in the car traveling the proper direction was also transported to the hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
UPDATE
The deceased drivers involved in the crash are identified as 38-year-old Tyronne Wilson of Bedford and 40-year-old Sidney Leigh Dew of Santa Ana, California (this is the driver that was going the wrong way).
