Dallas police have arrested David Polley, 67, in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a 6-year-old girl on February 16, 2025.
Incident Details
The crash occurred around 10:25 p.m. in the 5900 block of Belt Line Road. Authorities say the driver of a white Acura MDX struck the child, pulled into an adjacent parking lot, and then fled the scene without rendering aid.
Dallas police issued a public alert, releasing a photo of the suspect vehicle while searching for the driver.
Arrest & Charges
On February 18, 2025, Polley was taken into custody and booked into the Dallas County Jail. He is charged with collision involving death.
