The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Friday, March 7, 2025, in the 200 block of eastbound IH-30.
At approximately 6:50 p.m., a motorcycle carrying two people collided with a Chevy pickup truck in slow-moving traffic. The motorcycle operator was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
Witnesses reported that the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed before the collision.
The identity of the deceased will be released by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office after next of kin is notified. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
