Manhunt Underway for Suspect in Far North Dallas Murder
UPDATE: On April 19, 2025, Simuel Norice turned himself into Dallas Police and will be charged with Murder in connection with this case.

The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating 54-year-old Simuel Norice, who is wanted in connection with a murder that occurred on March 27, 2025, in the 2600 block of Frankford Road. Norice is described as a black male, 5'10" tall and 160 lbs.
On March 27, 2025, at approximately 12:45 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the Far North Dallas area. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim who had been shot. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene, but the victim, identified as 58-year-old Christopher Simms of Carrollton, died at the location.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Simuel Norice to contact Crime Stoppers at 214-373-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of Norice for this and other felony offenses.
