Irving Police are investigating a shooting that left three people injured early Saturday morning outside the Waffle House located at 2000 E. Irving Boulevard (at Loop 12).
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 6:15 a.m. and located three gunshot victims in the restaurant’s parking lot. According to police, two of the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while the third sustained more serious wounds.
Three ambulances were dispatched to the location as first responders treated and transported the victims. The area saw heavy police activity following the incident.
Investigators say multiple suspects fled the scene in a vehicle before officers arrived. The motive behind the shooting is currently unknown, and no arrests have been made.
