Two Dead, Two Critically Injured in Fatal Grand Prairie Crash

The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred Friday, June 13, 2025, in the 4300 block of East Main Street, resulting in two fatalities and two critical injuries.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., a Chevrolet pickup truck attempted to cross the eastbound lanes of East Main Street when it was struck by an eastbound Chrysler passenger car. Both drivers and passengers sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital.

Authorities confirmed that the driver of the Chevrolet and the driver of the Chrysler both succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased by medical staff. The passengers from both vehicles remain in critical condition.

Preliminary investigation suggests the Chrysler was traveling at a high rate of speed. Additionally, investigators determined that neither driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.

The identities of the deceased will be released by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office pending notification of next of kin. The collision remains under investigation.
