Northwest Park Basketball Court in Irving Closed Due to Vandalism

The basketball court at Northwest Park, located at 2800 Cheyenne St., is temporarily closed until further notice due to vandalism, the City of Irving announced today.

Goal blockers have been installed on the hoops, caution tape surrounds the court, and closure signage is in place. City staff are currently developing a timeline for the necessary repairs to make the court playable again.

Despite the basketball court closure, patrons will still have access to the park's other amenities, including walking trails, the playground, and pavilions with picnic tables.
