Motorcyclist Killed in Granbury Crash, Speed a Factor

GRANBURY, TX – A 31-year-old Granbury man was killed in a motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon in the 3600 block of FM 4 South.

At approximately 3:20 p.m. on August 5, Granbury Fire and Police, along with Texas EMS, responded to the scene. According to police, the motorcyclist was operating his vehicle at “excessively high speeds” when he struck an SUV that was turning onto the highway from a private drive.

The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
