The Colony Man Arrested for Supplying Drugs to Middle Schooler
The Street Crimes Unit of The Colony Police Department arrested 24-year-old Leonidas Cannon on August 29, 2025, after investigators say he was caught distributing narcotics to a middle school student.
During the arrest, detectives seized:

Cannon faces multiple charges, including:

Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2 or 2-A (First Degree Felony)

Delivery of a Controlled Substance or Marijuana to a Child (Second Degree Felony)

Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon (Class A Misdemeanor)
Following his arrest, officers executed a search warrant at Cannon’s home, where they recovered an additional 8,910 grams (19.64 lbs.) of THC edibles.
Police say the case highlights their continued focus on keeping illegal drugs out of the community—especially when children are targeted.
